I like the soniccrafter tool and have found it does things I could never do with any other tool. Before I purchased it I read a number of the reviews and now agree with most of them. The tool gets hot when used for a deep or prolonged cut and I do mean hot. I have tried different speeds and that does not seem to have any effect. The blades will loosen up as many have stated and it does not matter how careful you seat the blade. I assume a design problem. I have noticed that when you are plunge cutting and the blade is tight in the cut or deep in the cut it vibrates and will loosen the set screw. I wanted the Fine multimaster but could not justify the cost difference for my amount of use. I would buy this tool again and it seems to be a well made husky tool.
