Used tool to cut door moulding bottoms in preparation for laying tile. Worked great!! Especially liked ability to mount blade at ~90 degree angle to get into a corner. Blade cut the moulding like butter. Initially, blade vibrated loose, but tightened the screw a little tighter and had no more problems. Tool is reasonably quiet--more of a low level hum than a buzz.
