So, this is my first weekend with 37-pice Sonicrafter. The job is to strip layers of old paint from a metal radiator cover. I mounted the scraper on, dialed up the variable speed to recommended high and went ahead only applying gentle pressure. After 5 minutes I had to remove my hand from the metal front area. It became way too hot to touch. As a matter of fact, I would never use any other tool at this temperature. To Sonicrafter's credit it didn't produce any smoke and kept turning it off every 10-12 minutes. Contacted Rockwell's Customer Service and was advised to exchange the unit.
